We have a body, a soul, and a spirit. What do you think the differences are?

If we were put on trial for being a Christian, would there be enough evidence to convict us? "Just going to church doesn't make you a Christian any more than standing in your garage makes you a car."

body: ... simple, the flesh & blood we house our soul & spirit in - at least on this earth, in this lifetime.
soul: ... the centre core ... our personal manifestation of pure/absolute love & being.
spirit: ... the outer core ... the ethereal body within which our soul is carried from one world/lifetime to the next.
i also believe that we are capable..perhaps cursed with the ability to think and act from any one of these levels ... always striving to act from the soul.
well that's my thoughts anyway.

spirit- the inner most being--the very breath of God that gives life.
this includes the intuition, conscience and love. not to be confused
with the Holy Spirit. the spirit is the part that communes with God,
and by which alone we are able to apprehend and worship Him.
soul- the personality--what makes us individuals and unique--where
the emotions and feelings derive. it is the organ of man's free will.
the meeting point of spirit and body. it is linked with the spiritual
world through the spirit, and with the matierial world through the body.
body- outer shell that comes in contact with the matierial world, the part
which gives us world conciousness. the part affecting the world and being
affected by it. the senses come from the body, and it is what contacts with
matter.
the spirit is the noblest part of man and occupies the innermost area of his being. The body
is the lowest and takes the outermost place. Between these two dwells the soul, serving as
their medium. The body is the outer shelter of the soul, while the soul is the outer sheath of
the spirit. The spirit transmits its thought to the soul and the soul exercises the body to obey
the spirit's order. Before the fall of man the spirit controlled the whole being through the soul.
An egg has 3 layers, the shell, the white and the yoke which is the centre.
The body is the shell, it carries the insides.
The soul is the white, its our personality, its who we are
The spirit is the Yoke, its the centre of us, its our conscience
ok, my views. not neccesarily a christian standpoint although i have to point out i am catholic
Body-self explanatory vessel for this world-shell
Soul- i feel is also linked with this world, ur conscience and who u are, when u die this bit joins with all other souls and creates new life
Spirit- the link to God, ur subconcious, this is the bit that is believed to go to heaven(or hell i suppose)

The spirit is... well, it is the part of us which belongs to the spiritual world (or i don't know how it's called in english /in hungarian szellemi világ/) the place what we can't see, with our eyes.
The soul is a chain between the material (body) and spiritual (spirit) world. Because of or in this can be found the sense, the feeling and the will, /aka értelem, érzelem és akarat/.
The body is what God made when He created Adam, so it's a pot, and into this God breathe the breath of life (Genesis 2:7), that's why we live. And It was the Lord's Spirit, because, He says in 6:3, that he took out His Spirit from the people, and they will live 120 years (and before that, they usually lived near 1000 years).
lol... i hope, i've written it in an understandable way...

Even if there had been only one wicked person, Jesus would have come to Earth, died and rose to save him/her
Why do you look for the living among the dead? He is not here; he has risen! (Luke 24:5-6)
